It is important to point out that VisitEngland works hard to support and guide attractions.  Failure to obtain the Quality Rose Marque should not be viewed as a negative.  VAQAS Assessors are looking at the attraction through the eyes of a visitor, by fulfilling all elements of a VAQAS assessment you are improving the experience of your attraction for all your visitors.

The assessor will provide guidance both during the 1to1 debrief and through the written report.

Each case is independently looked at and the VAQAS Manager, in consultation with the Senior Assessor, will decide whether another visit in the same year following recommended alterations is likely to enable the attraction to pass.
