The Peak District Environmental Quality Mark (EQM) is well suited to small firms. Their current standard is a fresh, innovative approach to certification as a market relevant way of understanding sustainability.

The ICRT independent review stated:

"Their online platform to report sustainability actions requires small firms to think about what they do and how they will use it to engage customers. The scheme has recently increased fees and sustainability standards to be certified, which will increase expectations from applicants on their return on investment, and effort."

The EQM is available for small businesses in the Peak District.
