How much does it cost to join the quality assessment scheme?

Serviced accommodation

Participation fees for quality assessment vary depending on the size of your property and the room rate, which is based on your standard single occupancy B&B rate.  Participation fees are paid annually, usually at the beginning of the assessment year (April). They start at £132 plus VAT for a small guest accommodation property.

Additionally there is a one-off joining fee payable in the first year.

Self-catering accommodation

Participation fees for quality assessment vary depending on the number of units you have. The fees are paid annually, usually at the beginning of the assessment year (April), and start at £134 plus VAT for a single self-catering unit.

Additionally, there is a one-off joining fee payable in the first year.
