Recognising the changing face of the football fan base, the Premier League decided that the 20 top Premier League clubs should be encouraged to take part in a bespoke assessment process, based on the model used for visitor attractions. The scheme has been devised to enable the clubs to identify how they can address the rising expectations of the match day experience, especially for those new to the game.
The eight areas of the match day are covered the pre-match experience through to leaving the ground.
Premier League recognise that the scheme is an important tool in reflecting the rising expectations of today’s supporter. They know that the quality of the experience is crucial and can make all the difference in that supporter returning.
